That’s right! The little counter over there? Down to thirty days! We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, and we’re confident this year’s conference is going to rock your socks.
We have a few reminders for you, and we’ll continue to highlight things over the next 30 days as we all prepare for the conference. New pages will be built and we hope you’ve been preparing your questions and polishing your queries and pitches for some of our live events. *wink wink*
Right now, I want to draw your attention to a couple of things:
- How to Register for WriteOnCon (this is from last year, but the info is the same)
- There will be events in the forum, so be sure to follow the link in the above post and register in our forums. Go on in and familiarize yourself, introduce yourself, and get ready!
- We have a FAQ section here. If you’re new to WOC, check it out.
This year, we welcome literary agents Cheryl Pientka, Daniel Lazar, Peter Knapp, Michelle Humphrey, Mollie Glick, Emily Keyes, Sarah Davies, and Katie Grimm!
There may or may not but definitely are additional agents on our faculty, but we can’t tell you who they are, because they’re Ninjas!
That’s right!
Our Ninja Agent program will be in effect this year, which means industry professionals will be in the forums, looking at your query letters, pitches, and anything else they want! We’ve had some great success stories from the Ninja Agents, and we encourage you to get your queries and pitches solidified in preparation for the conference.
Questions we can answer now? Let us know in the comments!

Hooray! I’ve been eagerly counting the days.
YAY!! I’ve already marked the dates on my calendar!! I can’t wait!!
Question: I got VERY useful feedback from the CON last year. I would like to participate to receive feedback on some new projects, but I’m now agented. Is it still okay to participate?
I’m so excited! I participated the first year but only got the end bits of last year so I cannot WAIT to participate again. Especially when I have a totally ready project!
Thanks again–you guys seriously rock awesome sauce socks. Oh yes.
I’m going to have company those days but will try to stop by when I can. It sounds awesome.
@Helene — anyone and everyone is invited to participate. So yes! You know your relationship with your agent, so take that into consideration, but yes.
Thank you WriteOnCon for another event to look forward to!
Forgive me if this is a silly question, but is it alright to post a query in the query forums for a manuscript that’s still in the revision stages? I would love to get my query polished with time to spare before actually querying.
Alexandra – Of course it is! Go ahead and post so our members can help you by critiquing it.
