The Class of 2k12 is a collaboration of Middle Grade and Young Adult authors whose first novels will debut next year. They write in a wide range of genres – dystopian, paranormal, contemporary, historical, Steampunk, fantasy and verse, amongst others! They work in concert to promote their books and reading, and will have activities, contests and much more information on their website, www.classof2k12.com, in coming months.

Seeing all of these people whose books WILL BE PUBLISHED NEXT YEAR, not next week or next month, helps me appreciate what a long process publishing is. And here I was hoping my WIP would be on the shelves a scant few months after I went looking for an agent. HA!
