Oooh, enticing right?

Things have been quiet here at WriteOnCon. I’m imagining crickets and birds chirping. But there’s still been many emails behind the scenes. You’ll see why.

First, contest prize winners. If you win, please email us at writeoncon(at)gmail.com for submission directions.

15-page MS critique by editor Daniel Nayeri: Marieke! (Congrats!)

Query crit by the fantabulous Jamie Harrington: Julie_1980! (Woot!)

Query crit by the energizing Shannon Messenger: Amy Owens! (*claps*)

Query crit by the hawk-eyed Lisa & Laura Roecker: Jasmine Denton! (Hurray!)

Query crit by the brainiac-behind-it-all Casey McCormick: Tessa Quin! (Yay!)

Query crit by Elana Johnson: Nata Romeo! (Frawesome!)

Also, I crit a lot of queries for people after I teach classes at conferences (and for anyone who purchases my ebook), so I feel bad not doing all these. Therefore, me, Elana Johnson, will critique ALL FIVE of the queries for these winners!

Again, email us at writeoncon(at)gmail.com for submission instructions. Thanks for WriteOnConning with us!!

One more thing: We’re hosting a live chat next Monday, August 23 at 9 PM EDT. The purpose of this chat? We want your feedback. What worked about WriteOnCon 2010? What didn’t? What would you like to see next year? We’re going to be around to field your feedback, answer your questions (yes, I really sent 189 queries), and pretty much just hang with you for an hour. So get your questions/comments ready and join us for the chat next Monday! It will be held in the same spot as all our live events, right here on the main WriteOnCon site. See you then!
