I have no words for what the last three days were. It’s been an unbelievable ride for all of us behind the scenes here at WriteOnCon.

We thank you for all the retweets, the blog posts, the excitement in the forum, and the participation in the live chats. Shannon’s dancing was epic.

We extend a major thanks to our panelists, workshop presenters, and conference professionals. Remember to click here to buy some amazing books!

First, there’s been a change in the prize drawing. We’ve decided to extend both of them through the weekend. This is mostly because I was late getting them up.

So click here to enter to win a 15-page critique from editor Daniel Nayeri.

And here to enter to win a query critique from one of the five of us WriteOnCon organizers!

Some of you have had questions about what will happen in the forums now that the conference is over. Click here for information.

As always, if you missed anything from this morning or while you were at work, or whatever, here is the schedule, all linked up to the events. And you can always access our archives. We do have transcripts (including video!) of the chats.

Thank you, and good night!

Such a brilliant idea and executed with such professionalism. Thanks so much for giving international writers like myself the opportunity to learn from the US pros. It’s an opportunity I otherwise would not have had and I’m very grateful. *sends virtual Tim Tams (yummy Aussie chocolate biscuits)*

  25. La Monica on Thursday 12, 2010

Thank you so much to all of the Writeoncon organizers. This was my very 1st kidlit writer’s conference and I was able to tap into so much wisdom – all from the comfort of my sweats and t-shirt! The fact that it was free was a true blessing!

  26. Diane on Thursday 12, 2010

Truely impressed with the work you all put into getting this con together.
Truely impressed with the information available in all the wonderful events.
I never got to see any live events because once I got the message “Waiting for sync.adap.tv…” nothing happened, except for the comments shown in the list. Probably slow Australian network or I am lacking some program to make it happen. Not to worry.
However, even without the live events, I got over 105 pages of notes in a word doc with very narrow margins.
Now to print out the pages, bind, and fall into bed to read through the wonderful information again and sleep until I catch up on what I missed to attend this con.
    Thank you so much.

    Awesomeness!
