Hey! Last week I gave some information on the live panels. Well, we’ve switched chat services to accommodate the nearly 1400 people who have registered. There’s a new way to chat. And it’s so totally easy, you’re going to die.


See those words up there? The same ones to find out ABOUT us, to CONTACT us, and to get into the FORUM? You should now see a CHAT button too. Yeah, just click on that. The chat will load right on this page. You’ll be able to see the pros as they answer questions, and you’ll be able to ask questions.


The trick so we don’t overwhelm the pros with a zillion questions? You won’t be able to see your comment. Or anything you type. But don’t worry, because we’ve been practicing behind the scenes, and WE CAN SEE THEM. If your question is chosen, the moderator of the chat (one of us) will publish your comment so everyone reading the chat can see it. The pros will then answer it.


With our testing, we think this is going to rock the house. It’s easy for all of us to use. In order for it to run smoothly, please remember:

2. PLEASE ONLY TYPE YOUR QUESTION ONCE. It got through. Trust me, trust us, trust the technology that it got through. Okay? Okay.

3. Sit back with your notebook, ready to be amazed.

    When we go to the chat room, it lists the first upcoming chat, and says “Reminder: enter your email address one day before.” There’s a box, presumably for entering the address.

    Is that something we need to do ahead of time in order to attend the chats?

    Hi Kate,

    That box is if you want to be sent a reminder of the chat before it happens. If you put your email in, it will send you a message one day (or one hour, or ten minutes, or whatever you pick from the drop down menu) before the chat begins. You don’t need to fill it in to participate.
