Platform and self-promotion is king these days!
Great panel–I love the idea that online platforms are a bonus, but it’s about the level of engagement, not the number of followers. And the idea that an author should do what an author is comfortable doing–that’s comforting–thanks!
Oftentimes artists and writers are the worst at representing and promoting their own work.
I used to be tech savvy and then I become a mom and lost all contact with the industry. It’t time to get back in the saddle.
