As you all know, we had an epic launch to announce the writeoncon. There were prizes to be had, critiques to be (er–critiqued?), and many, many twizzlers to be eaten.

The girls all received some great comments on our blogs, and we are VERY happy to know that you guys are so excited about the conference. Don’t forget to check back on July 1 for registration!

This is my new favorite nickname. I like it so much that I think we should change the name of the conference to “The Spectacular Six Throws a Badass Writing Conference–and It’s all Free.” That probably won’t work as a twitter hashtag, though.

Thank you, Sandy. That is exactly why we’re doing this. We really do just want to pay forward all the help and good fortune we’ve all received. Without the internet, and the amazing community, none of us would be where we are today–so that’s why we want to make writeoncon a huge success.
