  1. YA. So sad did not make it into the critique but happy to read your thoughts on other’s work.

  2. This is fantastic! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I write both YA and MG but I would love feedback on the MG I’m currently working on.

  3. Many thanks, Alyssa, for your time and generous gift! I write both, but put me in the MG drawing.

And thank you, WriteOnCon ladies for organizing this!

  4. This is very generous. I’ve written a paranormal thriller and would be thrilled to have your comments, critiques and suggestions. Thank you!

  5. Thanks so much for doing this, and really appreciated all of the tips you gave in the forum. I have a YA fantasy dealing with demons (as one of the good guys).

  6. What a great prize! It’s nice to see so many people donating their time and talents to help others :) I have written in both categories, MG and YA :) Thanks again!

  7. Alyssa was so great on her forum this morning. I’d like to thank her very much for her time.

I eat, sleep, and write MG.

  8. “Ooh, ooh, pick me! Pick me!” says the parrot. The author whose shoulder is being weighed by the innocuous by annoying bird rolls her eyes and raises her hand. “I write YA.”

  9. Thanks Alyssa! Great opportunity =D I write YA.

so stoked about these door prizes! So many wonderful opportunities!

  10. This is a door prize? This is a gift!

I thought we were supposed to tell WHY we write. (The short answer to that, of course, is because there is nothing like the feeling of making characters come alive and connecting with someone out there who wants to live in the world of our books! Hmm. That was a long short answer.) ;>

What I write: middle grade. And I love it. These are the books I’ve held on to since I was a kid. These are the stories -I- always wanted to live in.

Open the door and let the prizes in . :>

  11. Thanks Alyssa,

This is fantastic. I had sent you a submission months ago and unfortunately it wasn’t right for you. Maybe now I will get the chance to find out what didn’t work for you.

  12. This is an incredibly generous door prize! Wow!
I write both MG and YA, so I’d be grateful and appreciative for either opportunity!
